::Outside my window

A cold and clear January day, in the 30s.

:: Listening to

Don Giovanni, with Renee Fleming and Bryn Terfel in the leads

::Cooking

Carbonara tonight. Dinner at a meeting tomorrow, and then dinner with my parents Thursday and Friday. Wednesday I might try chicken tikka marsala again and see if I can make the sauce less…saucy. It was really watery last time.

::Reading

Madeline L’Engle’s Austin series again, as well as Toujours Provence.

::Creating

The second draft of the novel, where I’m putting in scenes that flesh things out. I’ve read through the entire manuscript once and rid it of major errors. Now it’s on to creating more content.

::Working on

The body–I’m down a dress size, so the circuit training must be working.

::Around the house

Cleaning off the kitchen table, and mopping the kitchen floor.
