I.
OK, raise your hand if you felt like this was the LONGEST WEEK EVER. Welcome to my universe. This week felt like it was at least a month long. I don’t know if it’s because it’s January, because it’s sort of cold outside, and grey, or whatever, but wow. This was SUCH a long week. I am very happy it’s Friday and more than that, that it’s a long weekend. Praise Jesus.

That said, the weekend is busy. HOCKEY STARTS TOMORROW! Our long national nightmare is over. Pens/Flyers to kick off the season, which makes me deliriously happy. Then it’s Trivia Night/Fundraiser at my parish. In my opinion, this is the best way to fundraise, bar none. I mean, food and trivia and prizes–and raising money for the parish? Count me in. Sunday is free–so far–and Monday I’m planning on spending time with two pals I love.
And there’s two workout dates in there, too. Oh, and I need to clean.

I love to wear dresses. I hate dresses that zipper up the back. Can we change that? I am a solitary girl, and I don’t have that much arm flexibility. Can we please have side zips for everything? Or no? I realize the back zip makes the dress easier to get and out of. But…my arms are killing me now. (Yes, I wore an awesome zip-back dress today. Vanity has its costs, my friends.)

It’s going to be in the single digits for the low next week. I post this without comment. Other than: BRRRRRRR.

If you didn’t see this post earlier in the week, I direct you to it now. Thanks!

New year’s resolution updates: Workouts: Check; lectio: fudging a bit…i always remember it RIGHT before bed; writing: going very well. Adding new scenes to the novel and also have two more novel ideas.

This is sort of thin tonight, I know–my basic thought all week has been “IS IT FRIDAY YET?” And now it is. So I’m going to say vespers and then watch movies supplemented with a steady supply of Diet Dr. Pepper.

I must here in South Carolina is getting gusty and chilly. I am not a fan of single digits in temperature (even though I am the winter baby). Oh, and about that zipper issue, you should invent something (or maybe someone has) that is like a fishing pole and once you got it hooked pull up. Or something like that.
I’ve actually tried that…it was a string of paperclips attached to a hanger. But then the problem was getting the paperclips out of the zipper!
hmmm, we need to think of something….somehow Ba-loo keeps coming to my mind and him scratching his back.
I love your the look of your blog. Never seen one like this…with the worm etc.. very cool!
