Sorry for the sort-of radio silence, gang. Normally I don’t blog on Turkey Day, or the day after, but in this case I was hindered because my Mac has gone to CA to be repaired, so I’m using an older one. It’s a bit slow and can annoy me. So that’s why blogging has been sort of light. A post on Advent (linkage from CPG) coming soon, though.
Busy week as I head into December. Singing Vespers tonight, then choir rehearsal on W, BalletMet Premiere Meeting on Thursday (and possible choir rehearsal, again), dinner/Tangled/tree-going-up (with Bryan and Sarah) on F, and on Sat….FIRST EARNEST REHEARSAL! And a birthday/holiday party at Karen’s.
So a busy week. Whew. Hopefully I will get my Mac back in the midst of all this…
I hope y’all had a good Turkey Day!
I’ve always loved the Disney storybook conceit.
Happy Thanksgiving!… and for all the yumminess to come!

How about you?
AKA, Richard’s title for the Earnest Rehearsal Schedule.
This is a massive, massive rehearsal schedule. We have rehearsal on New Year’s Day! (Shazam!) But since I’m not in Act I, that means I have less rehearsal days than the actors playing Jack/Algernon/Lady Bracknell/Gwendolyn. But yes, massive schedule. We start on the 4th and then full speed to opening night on January 13!
The show runs for five weeks—so if you’re in the area, please come! 🙂 Will post ticket information and the site info. once it’s up and running.
Act II must be memorized by Dec. 18. Act III by Dec. 22. I’m actually doing pretty well on Act II, at least the first half. Act III is where I have long paragraphs. Whew.
I know what I’ll be doing over this long weekend, for sure! (Well, that, and wrapping Christmas presents. And finishing Christmas cards…)
