It’s my birthday!

I am 29 today.

For a long time, my goal has been to reach 30. This is probably because, when I was diagnosed with CF, 30 was sort of a pipe dream. A lot of people lived to maybe 30, or 33.

At 11, 30 seemed really old.

It doesn’t seem so old anymore!

I love my birthday. I love celebrating one more year of love and friends and family. This is also why I love everyone else’s birthday. Birthdays rule! If you’re getting older, that just means you’ve had more time to do things, and be with people that you love. Nothing wrong with that!

Tonight I’m going to Lindey’s to celebrate. I’m really looking forward to it.Then my mom is making red velvet cake! 🙂
